These days sunburn have become very common due to the high amount of ultraviolet rays emitted from sun and also due to the depletion of the ozone layers the efficient energy of these rays are also quite high. So its effect on the skin layers is also found to be at a higher rate. Remedies can be either through allopathic prescription or by herbal type. But people prefer simple home remedies as they are very cheap and they do not produce any side effects. The best method is to apply coconut oil or milk in the early morning before going out. Now a day’s people use cold tea bags in order to reduce the tanning effect caused due to sunburns. The importance of turmeric is also realized in this field we can apply the pack on the affected areas which contains turmeric powder and milk in the ratio 1:3.they should be applied in circular motions.

They help to control tanning in addition to that they also control the growth of hair on the skin. This following mix is also found to help in healing the sunburn which contains wheat flour or barley flour and it is mixed with both milk and olive oil or with the white of the egg after separating the yoke. The mixture of tomato pulp and cucumber juice and lemon juice can make the skin to glow and will never show any patches of the sunburn area. Honey goes well with dry skin and lemon juice goes well with oily skin so based on the type of skin the methods are selected.
